Personally, I'm fond of Professor Plum, but I've heard convincing arguments for Miss Scarlet, Mr. Green, Mrs. White and Colonel Mustard. I've yet to hear something positive about Miss Peacock, however.

Pros:

Spending time with Miss Scarlet.

Having the scenario of Mrs. Scarlet, in the Lounge, with the Rope be more deadly than scintillating.

Running into Ms. Peacock in the secret passage from the Lounge to the Conservatory. Creeeeepy.

Having to hear Colonel Mustard drone on about military campaigns in Algeria, hunting badgers in Wales, and investing in the East India Trading Company. Urge to kill rising.

The candlestick is unwieldy and difficult to remove from a room surreptitiously.
